Terms of Use

1. Service Description

The App provides a service that uses AI to translate and proofread diaries and journals entered by users in Japanese into English. This also includes related services such as saving example sentences and learning features.

2. Account Management

Users are responsible for properly managing their account information (email address, password, etc.). The operator shall not be held liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of an account.

3. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

• Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
• Activities that interfere with the operation of the App
• Activities that infringe upon the rights of other users or third parties
• Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or similar activities
• Unauthorized commercial use of the App

4. Paid Plans (Subscriptions)

• The App offers certain features as paid plans (auto-renewable subscriptions).
• Subscription fees are based on the amounts displayed on the Apple App Store or the website.
• Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• For purchases made through the iOS app, charges will be applied to your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel your subscription via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the operator or its licensors. Copyright of content entered by users belongs to the users, but users grant the operator permission to use such content to the extent necessary for providing the App's services (such as AI translation processing).

6. Disclaimer

• The operator does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI translation and proofreading results provided by the App.
• Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the operator, the operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users arising from the use of the App.
• The operator shall not be liable for temporary suspension of the App, loss of data, or similar issues.

7. Changes to the Terms

The operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms of Use shall become effective from the time they are posted within the App or on this website.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any and all disputes related to these Terms.
